BBQ Frankfurter

Who can resist a hot dog on the BBQ in the summertime?
There are so many different ways you can top them... here is one of our favourites!

 

Frankfurters 3 Ways

        

Chilli Dog

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tomato, diced into small cubes
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • Bunch of coriander 
  • 1/2 chopped red chilli 
  • 1/4 cup sweetcorn
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

 

Method

1. Mash the avocado and mix in the lemon juice.  Gently mix in the tomatoes, onion, corn, coriander and chilli.  

2. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix through and top your frankfurter.  Put some more coriander on top for added greenery.

 

 

        

Spicy Peach Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 peaches, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1/2 chilli pepper, chopped
  • Bunch of fresh coriander
  • Juice of a lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method

1. Mix the diced peaches with the onion, tomato, chilli and coriander and season. Add the squeezed lime juice and mix through.

2. Top it on your franks. That's it!

 

        

Spicy Guacamole and Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lemon, squeezed

  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • Bunch of coriander 
  • 1/2 chopped red chilli
